Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with age >=70 years old; 2. Patients with proximal humeral fractures; 3. Patients with Neer type III fractures
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients lack of independent behavior ability, or patients do not have the basic ability to understand the doctor's advice; 2. Patients with mental or cognitive disorders can not understand the survey score; 3. Patients with ipsilateral upper limb fractures or fractures extending to humeral shaft; 4. Patients with fracture history or operation history of ipsilateral upper limb before injury; 5. Patients with limb fracture again during the follow-up period, or patients with life-threatening diseases or trauma during the follow-up period; 6. Patients with history of open fracture, pathological fracture, rheumatoid arthritis or chronic osteoarthritis affecting upper limb function; 7. Patients with vascular or nerve injury.
