Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The project was carried out among the patients who planned to undergo abdominal surgery in general surgery, including hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, pancreatic and splenic surgery; 2. Patients who are going to use general anesthesia; 3. The patients were over 60 years old; 4. Patients with ASA grade 1 to 2; 5. Those patients who follow eras preoperative fasting and drinking program.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with delayed gastric emptying, abnormal gastrointestinal peristalsis and emergency operation; 2. Patients with diabetes in the past; 3. Patients who refuse to accept ultrasound examination.
