Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Even if the heart rhythm is controlled by medication, the patient still has symptomatic heart failure and persistent or permanent atrial fibrillation; (2) The patient is older than 18 years old and is not pregnant.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Severe mitral valve or aortic valve insufficiency; (2) Congenital heart disease requiring heart surgery; (3) Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
