18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Elective Lumbar Laminectomy and aged 17-79 years; American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) Physical Status I/II/III;Obtained written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diabetes mellitus or abnormal glucose tolerance; 2. Taking drugs that affect insulin sensitivity; 3. Weight loss of more than 10% in the last 6 months; 4. CT indicated distant metastasis in tumor patients. 5. Renal insufficiency (creatinine > 3mg/dl, dialysis); 6. Liver insufficiency (Child-Pugh grade B or above); 7. Gastroesophageal reflux; 8. Gastrointestinal obstruction or any condition that affects the rate of gastric emptying.
