Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Upper rectal cancer (lower edge of the tumor from the anal verge 10-15cm), sigmoid colon cancer; with conventional laparoscopic surgery indications; preoperative imaging studies such as CT Tip prompts the maximum diameter of colorectal cancer is less than 4cm; no preoperative chemoradiotherapy; no distant metastasis; body mass index (BMI) shall be less than 28 kg/m.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Merged intestinal obstruction, intestinal perforation need emergency surgery; postoperative recurrence or multiple primary cancer of colorectal cancer; undergone neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy; existing laparoscopic surgery contraindications.
