Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria for family caregivers: 1. Being the father or mother of a person with schizophrenia identified in 2015; 2. Aged 38- 75 years; 3. Living together with and caring for the patient; 4. Not participants in our prior PFI studies; 5. Be able to provide written informed consent. The inclusion criteria for person with schizophrenia: 1. Identified in the 2015 survey; 2. Aged >=18 years; 3. Not participants in our prior PFI studies.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria for the family caregivers: 1. likely to engage in a risk behavior (e.g., suicide or violence) imminently; 2. Be identified by a trained health professional as unsuitable to join the study (e.g., with mental illness).
