Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Cataract patients with high myopia and controls were consecutively recruited from the Ophthalmology Department of the first affiliated hospital of chongqing medical university.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previous history of ophthalmic surgery or trauma; 2. Patients with any corneal, retinal or optic neuropathy other than high myopia; 3. Patients with mature cataract (Brown / white).
