Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with dysphagia who were diagnosed as primary achalasia by endoscopy, esophageal manometry, and esophageal emptying test and accepted V-POEM.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who did not receive regular follow-up and clinical examination after the treatment of new poem. 2. Patients who received other treatments before the new poem. 3. Patients with esophageal stenosis or ulcer and peptic ulcer. 4. Patients with malignant tumors of digestive system. 5. Patients with previous digestive tract surgery. 6. Patients older than 65 years or younger than 18 years.
