Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Caregivers who provide care to a family member diagnosed with dementia. 2. Care recipients living in a home setting in the rural area. 3. Caregivers are the primary carer in the family and have been in this role for at least 6 months. 4. Caregivers have access to a reliable telephone. 5. Caregivers are aged 18 or above. 6. Caregivers are able to communicate in Mandarin.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Paid caregivers hired by the family. 2. Caregivers who are currently enrolled in similar programs in their capacity as a family caregiver. 3. Caregivers who are unable to provide informed consent, e.g. they themselves have cognitive impairment or severe mental health problems. 4. Caregivers who live in cities.
