Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Critically ill patients with infection; 2. with any risk factors of fungal infection; 3. without documented proven fungal infection; 4. days in ICU >= 72h; 5. Aged >= 18 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Antifungal treatment for more than 72h prior to enrollment; 2. Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation (APACHE) II score of >= 35 at enrollment; 3. Neutrophil count of less than 500/mm3 longer than 1 week; 4. Previous solid organ or bone marrow transplantation,or haematological malignancy; 5. Acquired immune deficiency syndrome and human immunodeficiency virus carriers.
