18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 to 85 years; 2. Invasive mechanical ventilation >=48 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Women during pregnancy; 2. ARF secondary to status asthmaticus, COPD, and cardiogenic pulmonary edema; 3. PaCO2>50mmHg; 4. Absolute contraindications to noninvasive ventilation (e.g.facial surgery or severe facial trauma, airway, esophagus and stomach surgery, severe neurological injury that fails to protect airway, etc.); 5. presence of tracheotomy; 6. participating in other respiratory related studies; 7. Patients or family members refuse to participate.
