Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with acute abdominal pain within 72 hours before admission and diagnosed as acute abdominal pain by elevated serum amylase; 2. After admission, transabdominal ultrasonography was used as the standard imaging method to perform contrast-enhanced CT in patients with unclear diagnosis or no improvement of clinical symptoms within 72 hours after admission; 3. The severity of AP is based on the actual disease stage at admission determined by the revised Atlanta classification (2013).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with post ecrp pancreatitis, pregnancy and malignant tumor were diagnosed; 2. Patients with symptoms more than 72 hours before hospitalization; 3. Patients who refuse to give informed consent; 4. The exclusion criteria of the control group were as follows: Patients with any systemic and chronic diseases, including autoimmune diseases, cancer, diabetes, liver disease with aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity, respectively, have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, including hypertension and coronary artery disease, any injury or acute state, including infection evidenced by C-reactive protein levels, and hyperlipidemia.
