Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Neonates with risk factors for brain injury, including but not limited to intrauterine distress, Grade III meconium-stained amniotic fluid, neonatal asphyxia, neonatal sepsis, severe hyperbilirubinemia, infants of diabetic mothers, small for gestational age (SGA) infants, and preterm infants, were continuously enrolled from participating institutions between November 2023 and December 2025.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Neonates who died or gave up treatment within 72h of life.
