Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed with stroke according to the criteria adopted by the Fourth National Cerebral Vascular Disease Conference and confirmed by CT or MRI and those at Brunnstrom Stages IV-V; 2. Patients with right hemiplegia symptoms and right-handedness; 3. Those with Mini-Mental State Exam score of >24, of a clear mind, and able to communicate effectively; 4. Patients presenting with their first episode of stroke or a history of stroke but no residual neurological dysfunction; 5. The first episode of stroke was less than 6 months ago with stable vital signs; 6. Patients aged between 30 and 80 years, with primary school education and above; 7. Those able to walk more than six meters independently or assisted; 8. Patients or his/her legal guardian agreed to sign the informed consent form; 9. Those able to understand and implement rehabilitation training.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with upper-limb dysfunction caused by other diseases, such as traumatic fracture, amputation, severe joint disease, or rheumatoid arthritis; 2. Those with major diseases, such as myocardial infarction or severe heart failure, liver and kidney in the near future (within 4 weeks), incomplete or poorly controlled diabetes mellitus, or severe shoulder pain or dislocation; 3. Patients with transient ischemic attack, reversible neurological deficits, or other secondary diseases (such as cerebral hemorrhage after infarction).
