Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All hospitalized patients (aged >=18 years) who underwent ETI in the general ward.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were intubated prior to admission, had preexisting endotracheal tube exchanges, were intubated in the ICU or emergency department, had incomplete data, etc.
