Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pediatric patients underwent Kasai operation for type III biliary atresia; 2. in the period from the beginning of 2000 to the end of 2019; 3. in the department of hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery (tertiary care center), National Liver Institute (NLI), University of Menoufia, Menoufia, Egypt.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type I,II Biliary atresia; 2. cases with data loss; 3. those who did not complete the follow-up 4-who refused researches.
