18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 18 years of age or older; 2. Need for mechanical ventilation for at least 24 hours; 3. Have concurrent invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring, and require sputum suction under mechanical ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Long-term use of opioids, benzodiazepines, non-benzodiazepines and other analgesic sedatives for more than 3 months or allergies; 2. Unstable hemodynamics; 3. During pregnancy or lactation; 4. Severe brain injury, high spinal cord injury, brain death, and use of muscle relaxants; 5. Chromocytoma and other patients with adrenal medulla; 6. Those who take monoamine oxidase inhibitors; 7. Participating in other drug research or clinical trials; 8. Fail to obtain informed consent.
