Lamotrigine group:Routine treatment + Lamotrigine

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients with a diagnosis focal epilepsy; (2) Published randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and quasi-randomized controlled trials comparing lamotrigine with a placebo or CBZ/OXC group; (3) Trials providing focal epilepsy data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients older than 18 years; (2) No full-texts could be found; (3) No data were eligible to extract.
