Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) When the distance between the tumor and the anal margin was less than 12 cm, the diagnosis of rectal cancer was made by endoscopy and pathology. (2) There were complete preoperative and postoperative CT imaging data and postoperative pathological data. (3) According to the principle of total mesorectal excision, surgical treatment was performed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with both descending colon and sigmoid colon tumors. (2) Liver cirrhosis or portal hypertension. (3) Previously received tumor related treatment (chemotherapy or radiotherapy).
