18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Intra-articular fractures classified as Sanders type II or III with fresh and closed calcaneal fractures; aged above 18 years; no other ipsilateral trauma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Excluded patients were those with extra-articular fractures, open fractures, diabetes or other peripheral vascular diseases, long-term smoking status or remained smoking during the perioperative period, and ipsilateral complex foot injuries.
