Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 45-75 years; 2. Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria of American rheumatic Association for knee osteoarthritis; 3. Imaging diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis, Kellgren Lawrence grade II or III patients; 4. Patients whose average pain intensity was more than 40 / 100 mm of the digital analog scale (VAS) last week; 5. Patients with unilateral or bilateral chronic knee pain for more than 6 months; 6. Patients with irregular resistance training history; 7. Patients with informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of knee surgery or waiting for any knee surgery; 2. Arthroscopic examination in the last 12 months or intra-articular injection in 6 months; 3. Patients who received physical therapy or strength training in the last 3 months; 4. Patients who have taken NSAIDs in the last 3 months; 5. Patients with cardiovascular or musculoskeletal diseases that affect participation in exercise therapy; 6. Patients with absolute contraindications to exercise therapy.
