Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 65 years or older; 2. Patients who had chronic hypertension; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status of class II or higher, 4. Scheduled to undergo major abdominal surgery under general anesthesia with an expected duration of 2 hours or longer; 5. Informed consent has been signed.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Chronic kidney disease (glomerular filtration rate <30 mL/min/1.73m2 or requiring renal replacement therapy for end-stage renal disease); 2. Acute or decompensated heart failure or acute coronary syndrome; 3. Preoperative sepsis or were already receiving norepinephrine infusion; 4. Urological surgery; 5. Enrolled in another study.
