Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All subjects are generally healthy, without systemic diseases, and aged between 20 and 40 years old; 2. No active dental caries or oral mucous diseases were found in the oral cavity of all subjects; 3. BMI 18.5~23.9; 4. No less than 20 teeth with full eruption except for the third molars; 5. Periodontal health: no signs of gingival inflammation (MGI score =0 points), PD=1), no attachment loss (AL), and no radiographic evidence of alveolar bone loss on X-ray; 7. Chronic periodontitis (moderate to severe) : Periodontal pockets (PD>=5mm), attachment loss (AL), and radiographic evidence of alveolar bone resorption over 1/3 root length on X-ray.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Teeth with dental caries or root apex inflammation, root canal treatment and crown repair, with the exception of cracked teeth and severely worn teeth; 2. Affected teeth with suspected or broken roots, except for enlarged root canal images; 3. Subjects who have received periodontal treatment in the past 6 months; 4. Subjects who have received antibiotics or immunosuppressive drugs in the past 6 months; 5. Patients with related systemic diseases: hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, leukemia, etc.; 6. Pregnancy and lactation; 7. Except smokers; 8. Except for obese patients.
