Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. According to the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine for Alzheimer's disease; 2. TCM syndrome differentiation belongs to turbid phlegm type; 3. Patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease were selected by clinical dementia rating scale, Montreal cognitive assessment scale and mini mental state examination scale; 4. The age ranged from 45 to 80 years old, both male and female; 5. Patients or their family members voluntarily participated in the study with informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe neurological impairment, such as hemiplegia, aphasia and visual and hearing impairment; 2. Patients with cognitive impairment caused by other system diseases, such as severe circulatory system, digestive system, urinary system, endocrine system and other diseases; 3. Patients with underlying diseases that affect the oral administration, absorption and metabolism of drugs; 4. Patients with adverse habits, such as alcoholics, drug addicts, psychotropic substance abusers and antidepressants, were included in the study; 5. Patients with serious life-threatening primary diseases and psychosis were found; 6. Allergic constitution; 7. Taking other traditional Chinese medicine or Chinese patent medicine to improve cognition; 8. Patients who participated in other clinical trials within the last 3 months.
