Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Eligible AF patients had the following characteristics: 1) 18-80 years of age; 2) diagnosis of AF by ECG or 24-hour Holter; 3) completion of all clinical and laboratory examinations required.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) acute infection; 2) autoimmune diseases treated with oral corticosteroids; 3) known malignancy; 4) chronic kidney disease (stage 4 or 5); 5) liver injury; 6) incomplete data.
