Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female aged 35-70 years; 2. Accord with the diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Osteoarthritis with K-L grade less than 2 or above 2. Inflammatory joint diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, etc.) 3. Complicated with any infection, including skin infection, or with symptoms and signs of infection or fever. 4. Immune system deficiency status, such as diabetes, cancer, AIDS. 5. Other cases requiring immunosuppressive drugs; 6. Long term use of non steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs; 7. History of ipsilateral or contralateral knee surgery; 8. Patients who cannot be examined with MRI.
