Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Older than 28 days and younger than 18 years old; 2. Hospitalized children primarily diagnosed with pneumonia; 3. Sputum or BALF specimens available; 4. Signed informed consent obtained.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Correct gestational age <= 41 weeks; 2. Pneumonia caused by bronchial foreign body or chest tumor; 3. Children with bronchial, lung, pleura, and diaphragm deformities with pneumonia; 4. Children with active lung bleeding; 5. In addition to the lungs, children with infections in multiple parts of the body; 6. Children with multiple infections throughout the body; 7. Children who have participated in this study within 90 days; 8. Children who are expected to die or be discharged within 24 hours;
