Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) The epiphyseal plate around the knee joint is not closed, and the remaining developmental period at least 2 years(judged by the measurement of the actual age and bone age of the children); (2) The limb length discrepancywas more than 2.5cm which measured by full-length X-ray films at the time of treatment, and the unequal length of both lower extremities was predicted to be less than 6cm at the time of cleased epiphyseal plate according to the multiplier method; (3) Children with limb length discrepancy of trauma and non-trauma (congenital dysplasia, bone tumor, bone joint infection, idiopathic and other reasons), and there is no bony bridge formation on the X-ray of knee joint; (4) Parents of children with a full understanding of the treatment plan under the premise of signing informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Limb length discrepancy caused by asymmetrical pelvic development and pelvic tilt; (2) The preoperative limb length discrepancy was less than or equal to 2.5cm; (3) The lower extremity on the surgical side had angular malformation; (4) The operative side of the lower extremity had the operation history previously.
