Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Patients with first-episode depression during old age. All researchers were required to complete cognitive assessment before rTMS treatment. Participants: each ward of Shanghai Mental Health Center, support program cohort study and Shanghai Brain Health cohort study. The specific criteria were as follows: 1) Aged >= 60 years; 2) meeting the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV depression; 3) geriatric GDS > 10 points.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) physical diseases related to depression, or previous neurological diseases related to depression; 2) bipolar disorder; 3) epilepsy; 4) severe head trauma or brain surgery; 5) implantation of metal objects (except braces); 6) implantation of cardiac pacemakers or other stimulators; 7) pregnancy; 8) first-episode depression in non senile period; to reduce suicide risk The subjects of this project can be combined with antidepressants and psychotherapy.
