Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged 18-50 years old; 2) Primary school education or above; 3) Persons with schizophrenia meeting Diagnostic criteria in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV-TR); 4) Course of disease < 20 years; 5) The total score of Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) was < 60; 6) Currently on atypical antipsychotic maintenance therapy; 7) Have not received systematic training or engaged in taijiquan or aerobic exercise in the past; 8) There are family members who can assume the responsibility of taking care of patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with acute schizophrenia who need to be hospitalized for treatment; 2) Previous history of mental retardation; 3) A history of drug dependence; 4) A history of alcohol dependence; 5) Previous serious physical and brain organic diseases; 6) After assessment, there are contraindications with symptoms limiting maximum intensity exercise test; 7) During the exercise test evaluation, symptoms limit the indication of the termination of the maximum intensity exercise test; 8) Pregnant or nursing women; 9) No RBANS or similar cognitive evaluations were conducted within 6 months; 10) Obvious social withdrawal, unable to carry out effective communication, unable to participate in collective activities.
