Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 10 to 14 years; 2. The clinical examination has symptoms such as stenosis of the maxillary dental arch, unilateral or bilateral posterior crossbite, etc., and the diagnosis and design require the treatment of maxillary expansion; 3. Have never received orthodontic treatment; 4. Not taking drugs that affect bone remodeling; 5. No history of systemic diseases.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Failure to complete treatment as required for follow-up visits; 2) Those who cannot tolerate the pain of the expansion appliance and have not completed the treatment.
