Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with newly diagnosed colorectal cancer; 2. They were able to obtain tumor resection tissue samples, fasting plasma samples and fecal samples before treatment at the same time; 3. aged 18-60 years old; 4. Expected length of stay >=7 days; 5. BMI at admission was 18.5 – 28.0 kg / m2 (inclusive); 6. Without history of other organ tumors and intestinal surgery; 7. Without history of Liver and kidney dysfunction; 8. No antibiotics were used in the past 6 months; 9. No chemotherapy or radiotherapy was given 2 weeks before admission.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Chemotherapy or radiotherapy was given 2 weeks before admission; 2. The expected length of stay was less than 7 days; 3. Pregnant or lactating female patients; 4. The expected survival time was less than 30 days; 5. General condition is poor, severe malnutrition patients. 6. BMI 28.0 kg / m2 at admission; 7. Liver and kidney dysfunction (liver and kidney function index higher than the upper limit of normal value 20%); 8. Patients with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) or hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC); 9. Patients with tumor recurrence, distant metastasis, unable to undergo radical resection, or complicated with other organs or multiple organ dysfunction; 10. Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), metabolic disease (such as diabetes, obesity) or infectious diseases.
