Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: In this retrospective study, we analyzed the elderly IFF patients above 65 year-old who were admitted to the Fourth Orthopedics Department of Shengjing Hospital from 2016 to 2020. All patients received the treatment of hemiarthroplasty or PFNA for the first time. The choice of hemiarthroplasty or PFNA was dependent on the patient status and preference of the surgeon. All surgery procedures were performed by the same senior surgeon and his team.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Open fracture, pathological fracture and IFF history; (2) IFF with multiple injuries; (3) Local or systemic infection; (4) Malignant tumor bone metastases; (5) Loss to follow-up; (6) Failed to obtain informed consent.
