Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 16-55 years old, cartilage defect on hip, knee and ankle, male or female; 2. Full-thickness large cartilage defect (1-20 cm2, International Cartilage Repair Society [ICRS] grade III-IV); 3. Patients diagnosed as cartilage defect during January 2019 to June 2022; 4. Unwilling for surgical treatment or have missed the optimal surgery timing; 5. Agree to take part into this clinical trial and signed the informed consent approved by the Ethic Committee.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic or inflammatory arthritis (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis), gout, a history of neuro-arthritis and other muscle, joint, or nervous system diseases that affect lower limb function; 2. Patient with immunosuppression or acute infection 3. Obese, BMI>30 4. Patient unable to communicate normally or having a history of mental, psychological or neurological diseases which seriously affect investigation and evaluation 5. Joint malformation or severe dysplasia 6. Unable to determine the time of diagnosis; critical joint imaging data is incomplete; 7. Unable to cooperate with MRI, CT or X-ray examinations at critical time points within 2 years after diagnosis
