Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The criteria of SCZ for chronic aging were as follows: (1) over 60 years old, Putonghua of Han nationality; (2) The diagnosis of schizophrenia was in accordance with DSM V (diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders, version V) guided by a third-class psychiatrist; (3) The duration of the disease was more than 2 years, and the symptoms were stable as judged by psychiatrists; (4) Stable doses of antipsychotics were administered in the 12 months prior to this study; (5) There is no uncontrolled systemic disease or material dependence; (6) There are stable caregivers who can provide the information of subjects. 2. Inclusion criteria of chronic aging SCZ with cognitive impairment: (1) meet the criteria of chronic aging SCZ, and diagnose dementia according to DSM V standard; (2) The results of MMSE showed that the score of illiterate was 10-17, that of primary school was 10-20, and that of middle school or above was 10-24. The GDS score was less than or equal to 10 at screening; (3) Subjects were allowed to receive educational therapy; (4) The information provided by the subjects was stable. 3. The criteria of chronic aging SCZ without cognitive impairment: (1) meeting the criteria of SCZ for chronic aging, but not for dementia diagnosis according to DSM V standard; (2) The results of MMSE showed that illiterate score >=18, primary school score >=21, middle school or above score >= 25. GDS score =18, primary school score >=21, middle school or above score >= 25. GDS score <=10; (3) There are stable caregivers who can provide the information of subjects.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those who met one of the following criteria were not eligible: ? no stable caregiver. ? Vitamin B12 and folic acid deficiency, syphilis serological test positive or thyroid dysfunction. ? In addition to schizophrenia, he suffered from other serious mental diseases. ? Accompanied with other serious physical diseases.
