Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) conscious patients; (2) aged 18-60 years; (3) ability to read or write in Chinese; (4) patients undergoing surgery for the first time; (5) patients hemodynamics are stable; (6) patients have moderate levels of anxiety, with anxiety scores ranging from 40 to 59; (7) who do not use antianxiety or sedatives drugs before surgery; (8) willing to participate in the study and agree to sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) have no hearing, visual or cognitive impairment; (2) not eye or ear surgery patients; (3) do not like music; (4) those not diagnosed with anxiety disorder or other psychological disorders.
