Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >=18 years old; 2. Acute pancreatitis of the first onset (meeting more than 2 criteria as follows: upper abdominal pain; 3. Blood amylase or lipase increased by more than 3 times the normal upper limit; 4. Abdominal CT showed the characteristics of acute pancreatitis); 5. Mild acute pancreatitis (meet the following two criteria: no pancreatic necrosis and/or peripancreatic effusion; Nonpersistent (> 48 hours) organ failure); 6. Biliary pancreatitis (acute pancreatitis meets any one of the following criteria: imaging diagnosis of gallstones and/or sluger; Expansion of common bile duct, diameter of common bile duct 8mm, > 75 years old > 10mm; Blood alanine aminotransferase level > normal upper limit more than 2 times and serum alanine aminotransferase level > aspartate aminotransferase level); 7. Acute cholangitis (blood total bilirubin >40 mol/L and/or abdominal ultrasound /CT/MRCP/EUS with choledochal dilatation; 8. Body temperature>38.5 degree C or high-risk choledocholithiasis (abdominal ultrasound/CT/MRCP/EUS with choledocholithiasis; 9. blood total bilirubin >40 umol/L and dilation of common bile duct on abdominal ultrasound/CT/MRCP/EUS).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists class III physical status who were older than 75 years of age and all ASA class IV patients; 2. Chronic pancreatitis; 3. Pancreatitis due to other causes; 4. Previous pancreatic sphincterotomy or needle knife precut; 5. Coagulation disorder; 6. Pregnancy.
