Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who suffer from limb shortening, curvature or bone nonunion and will be treated with external fixator system, including unilateral external fixator, Ilizarov ring fixators and Taylor spatial frame, with or without bone transplantation; 2. can stick to sequential follow-up plan; 3. share no history of specific acute or chronic disease, can cooperate with doctors during examinations and have no related contraindication.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The interval between two sequential follow-up gets over 2 months; infection that has not been cured; any circumstance under which patients cannot participate in or tolerate the examinations, eg. kidney function insufficiency, hyperthyroidism, epilepsy and mental disease, etc.; 2. patients who refuse to be included in the study; 3. lost visit caused by any reason.
