18 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. typical symptoms of GERD (heartburn/regurgitation),at least once per week, lasting for no less than 2 months; 2. positive results of 24 hour pH-impedance monitoring (any one)(DeMeester score > 14.7/Number of reflux episodes > 73); 3. informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. hiata hernia > 2cm; 2. esophageal motility disorder; 3. autoimmune diseases (e.g. scleroderma); 4. history of gastrointestinal surgery; 5. clearly diagnosed lung disease; 6. pregnant or breastfeeding women.
