Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The neonates admitted to the newborn diagnosis and treatment center of childrens hospital affiliated to Chongqing Medical University with the main manifestations of dbdominal distension, vomiting, and bloody stools. 2. The age of infants are less than 28 days after birth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with congenital gastrointestinal malformations (such as congenital intestinal atresia, megacolon, intestinal malrotation, etc.); 2. Patients who gave up treatment during hospitalization; 3. Patients who did not complete the determination of intestinal flora and fecal SCFAs; 4. Patients who are not willing to participate in this study.
