Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) In line with sepsis 3.0 standard issued jointly by SCCM and ESICM in 2016 to diagnose sepsis and septic shock patients; (2) aged >=18 years; (3) sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The patients who died within 48 hours or were discharged from the hospital with incomplete clinical data; 2. those who participated in other researchers at the same time; 3. those who were not willing to provide informed consent; 4. those who were 7 days before admission There are the reasons for the increase of myocardial injury markers. Previously, there were patients with left ventricular dysfunction, dilated cardiomyopathy, acute and chronic valvular disease, acute coronary ischemia or cardiogenic or hemorrhagic shock, chronic liver failure, chronic renal failure, tumor or autoimmune disease.
