Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 60 years and over, undergoing ear surgery (microscopic tympanoplasty, endoscopic tympanoplasty, and cochlear implantation).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were under 60 yr of age and previous diagnosis of dementia or psychiatric disorder or decline to participate or unergo stapes surgery
