Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects who plan to be hospitalized for colonoscopy, aged 18-80 years and without diabetes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were consistent with contraindications to currently approved bowel preparations and included patients with ileus or bowel obstruction, bowel perforation, previous alimentary tract surgery, significant gastroparesis or gastric outlet obstruction, toxic colitis or megacolon, or severe ulcerative colitis or if they were pregnant or lactating.
