Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients aged 18 years or older; (2) Consecutive patients undergoing sedated upper endoscopy; (3) Patients able to read, understand and sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with absolute contraindications to EGD examination; (2) Patients who assessed not suitable for sedated endoscopy by anesthesiologist; (3) A history of previous gastric surgery or gastric remnant; (4) Patients with contraindications to biopsy; (5) Known active upper gastrointestinal bleeding or emergency endoscopy; (6) Patients in pregnancy; (7) Researchers believe that the patient is not suitable to participate in the trial.
