Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The retrospective study was conducted on HFS patients who underwent microscopic or fully endoscopic MVD from 2018 to 2019. All patients were treated at a single institution and by a single surgeon.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with atypical HFS, secondary HFS, history of MVD surgery, or associated symptoms of HFS (such as tinnitus, deafness, and hyperacusis of the affected side).
