18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients who underwent urgent surgery with GI perforation precisely identified during operation; (2) Patients whose perforation site was located in the small intestine below the ligament of Treitz (i.e. jejunum and ileum).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with anastomotic leakage after gastrointestinal surgery and with perforation in the appendix due to acute inflammation were excluded from the study.
