Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) status of I or II, as well as an age from 28 between 74 years, and a body mass index (BMI) of 17 to 29.9 kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: infection of the puncture site; allergy to local anesthetics; currently on anticoagulant treatment; a long history of opioid or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug use; systemic infectious diseases; regularly receiving corticosteroids; presence of psychiatric or neurological diseases; inability to cooperate during the procedure and the follow-up?survey.
