Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Infants born before 32wk of gestation, or weighing <1500g who require positive-pressure support ventilation in 24 hours of age.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Receive only palliative care; (2) Have dysmorphic features or congenital abnormalities likely to affect life expectancy or neurological development; (3) Have known or strongly suspected cyanotic heart disease; (4) Meet multiple exclusion criteria.
