Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patient was diagnosed with rectal cancer by pathologic findings,and would perform laparoscopic rectal cancer surgery according to preoperative evaluation. (2) Aged >= 18 years; (3) American Society of anesthesiologists (ASA) I-III; (4) Body's temperature of tympanic membrane was lower than 37.5 degrees C or >= 36.0 degrees C in the morning of operation day; (5) There was no ulcer, wound, blood or exudation under the armpit for patient. (6) The patient volunteered to participate in this study and signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patient's Body mass index (BMI) was > 35 kg / m2 . (2) Patient with infectious fever 3 days before the operation; (3) Patient was diagnosed with hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.
