Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Between January 1, 2012 and September 30, 2015, 1200 consecutive patients with acute myocardial infarction undergoing Elective percutaneous coronary intervention in the first affiliated hospital of Soochow university were enrolled for potential analysis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. previous stenting; 2. undefined culprit vessels; 3. angina pectoris; 4. prior myocardial infarction; 5. patients with definite diagnosis of myocarditis; 6. patients with definite diagnosis of cardiomyopathy; 7. patients with normal coronary angiography; 8. chronic total occlusion; 9. coronary artery embolism and 10. transferred elsewhere for further treatment.
